Welcome to Vicksburg Middle School's webpage! We are proud to report that VMS ranked in the TOP 10% of ALL Michigan Schools for 2010 based on the new Race to the Top ratings on our Math and Reading performance over the past two years! Way to go students and staff of VMS!
We are pleased that you have visited our site and would greatly appreciate an opportunity to have you visit our school. When you visit VMS in person you will find a great group of approximately 600 students in grades 6, 7, and 8. We are proud of our students who strive to show Honesty, Caring, Respect, and Responsibility in everything they do at VMS. We have a staff of highly qualified teachers who truly create a fun, interactive, and rich educational experience for every child in our building. Our teachers are always willing to meet with you in regards to any questions you may have about your child's progress. If you have any questions in regards to your child's progress at any time, please take the time to contact their teacher to discuss strategies for success in the classroom.
We at VMS are a CARING community of learners where each individual gives an HONEST effort, RESPECTS all others and takes RESPONSIBILITY for self!

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) would like to recognize a school staff member for his/her

VMS prides itself on our intense desire to get kids reading with our English A Reading classes as well as Academic Enhancement/Accelerated Reader class for our students every day.
